I recently found a site called: paidtoplaygames.net/paidtoplaygames.html and one of the steps is to install their software. is this safe? (Also, what is a 500 rating, i wasnt allowed to copy and paste)

No, not hardly. I am not too fond of this. I always check it out further before downloading files to my computer.

The site itsself sounds interesting but if you have to download something it's best to look into a sites reputation first. See if you can find payment proof or search the sites name and the word 'scam' and see what you come up with. The fact that you can't copy and paste yet is because you haven't made 500 unique responses yet. The number next to your name is an indication of how many unique responses you have made. I guess the site does this to prevent people from copying and pasting the same discussion over and over again, even though you can also do that once you reach 500 responses; but they will be deleted and you will not be paid for them.

it really depends on the reputation of the site. something like gamestop i might be willing to..but most of them i pass. you never know what extras might be in the install.
