Classical Music is nothing but a combination of pleasant notes played in a particular manner. In Indian Classical Music there are several 'Raga's which are prepared with the help of these notes. Each raga will have a particular number or of notes meant to played from basic 7 notes. No other notes will be added in that particular Raga. For 'Aarohan' that is ascending phase they use different notes and for 'Avarohan' that is for desending phase they use different notes in a particular raga. So in a Raga different set of notes are played for ascending and descending phase respectively.Together these notes they form main notes of a Raga. Now the time period varies here so there can be many combination of these notes with different time periods and each one combimnation can become a song. Such Songs from Indian Movies which are based on Ragas are called as Classiaongs are very popularl Songs. Such songs are very popular in India. I am also a big fan of these songs! Are you a Fan of Classical Music. May it be Eastern or Western ? Your response will be appreciated! Thanks !

I have never personally been a fan of classical music as it is too slow for me and that kind of music almost always puts me to sleep,it is good music though and I can understand how people can like it,but myself I personally prefer country music because it has a good clean sound, and it has songs I can actually relate to even though I do not like the songs about breaking up,cheating,or getting drunk at some bar.
