I'm so sad

I cared for my mother in law for the past month. I was happy to do it. She has many health problem and as some of you may know, fell and broke her hip in June. Today she went home and I moved on to the next problem, moving my son who lives two hours away. I stopped to see my dad who lives close by. He's doing very badly, is not very sure footed and has lost weight.
I sat down at my son's house and realized just how exhausted I was and have two more hurdles to overcome. Moving is easy and will be done tomorrow. My dad is another story. He has emphysema and I see it's taking it's toll. And he really doesn't want to live with anyone. It's hard to watch our parents age and have to deal with all that comes with it. It makes me so sad.
Have you experienced this? How did you handle it?

This is life, I have read that God never sends you more then you can handle.
But sometimes it feels like it. Just don't forget the tools he gives to help you.
prayer is the first, friends, a space for yourself even if it's very short. For each of the situations you are only one of the players, and it's good to realize that if you disapeared in the next hour life would go on. That way you don't allow your self to become to involved and loose you objectivity. hang in there and keep mylotting we'll give you more advise then you need, that way you can pick and choose what helps the most.

Well I think it's our responsibility as children to care for our parents. It's the least we can do. I was happy to care for my mother in law. She has lots of health problems and now walks with a walker.
I'm in Florida too and things are tough here. I hope you will be happy in Arizona. Moving stinks. Have a nice night.
