Effect of inflation on family budget

Yes I am sure inflation is effecting our budget. We are tightening up on things here right now. We really do have to! I am trying to cut costs on everything. Trips out and trying to cut the electric bill, cooking from scratch more, trying to grow my own food and cutting out the non-necessaries. I joined NetFlix and I am about to cancel it because it is not necessary. My cell phone bill is getting trimmed back with a different plan. I really only use it to talk to my family and in case of emergencies while I am out. The net I have to keep because I work from home via internet. I might end up giving up the satellite tv though. :( My family might revolt at that point!
