How do you choose the best answer for your discussion? what do you look for? i look for something that answers everything i need to know and i have a feeling that the person knows the message i am trying to get across. But what do you look for? is it length? how friendly they are? And if you decide to give someone a plus 1 or minus 1, why do you do that? because they dont agree with you, or they offended you?

Hi there ByblosFlare! When choosing the best response for the discussions I have started, one of the things I consider would be the quality of the response. The author may not agree with me in my views or I may not agree with the views of the author. But I always respect the opinions of other people. Whether I agree with their opinions or not.. Whether they he/she agrees with my opinions or not.. What is really important is that we all learn from the responses they give to our discussion.

I look at every discussion differently. It depends on the topic in use on what my feelings are going to be like when I rate comments. I try not to rate comments negatively to be honest with you as each person has a right to a personal opinion and we as humans are all very unique creatures. A person thats answer if helpful and creative will generally get a + rating from me. I try to go through the list from time to time, but still at times tend to not rate all of them. Its an ongoing process for me.
