How safe is it to use credit card for shopping?

I prefer to use credit card to settle my shopping bills coz it will be convienice and value-added.I have my own rule when using credit card.I will never use them in these shops far away towns and give me the bad or rough feeling;I will never use them online even the famous online shopping sites coz there're countless hackers out there,especially online~`Normally,I will check my credit card bills monthly via email or phone to sure my shop record.~`As well,I can link up the credit cards with my cellphone,that at the minute I use them,I get the message in my cellphone~`lol

The reasons why most of the people get fraud using their credit card is letting somebody knows their card and cvv number. To be safe, I suggest you to shopped online using the paypal account because they protect you from being fraud.

I will not normally shop online except at a few palces that I know I can trust with my information. Elsewhere I feel pretty safe usign my credit and debt cards. I normally like to read reviews and coments for certain online stores before deciding to shop with them so I can make sure my information dosent get stolen.

Well for me it's safe, because the bank had very strict security for it. The can detect the fraud user, they are asking you securty number that only you who knows it. My husband told me that when i go shopping using credit card or cash." Don't spend more than what he earned". lolz

I think it is actually pretty safe to shop with a credit card. The credit card companies are very good at defending their customers from fraud. If you ever do have any charges that are false, you just report it to the company and they take all measures to dispute the charges for you. They are a safety net. If you order something that doesn't come in the mail the credit card gives your money back and fights for it.
