I bought a few small presents for my kids this past week. Nothing major. A few stocking stuffers for my son and a baby doll and bottle for my daughter. I did get some ideas for other gifts for them though. Have you purchased any Christmas presents yet?

I'm almost finished buying presents. I can only afford one or two things per person, but I'll keep looking for things on sale that they may like.

Sometimes the best things can be found on sale.

I don't know about purchases. So far the three presents I have gotten for my family members have been free. It's what I work for all year. If I a save up points on all these different sites, I can get really nice presents for the people I buy for. My family has a 30 dollar limit on how much we spend per person. For instance, I got my mom this king size heating pad that can be cool or warm. It also shuts itself off. She has fibromyalgia and arthritis, not to mention back pain. Just two days ago she was lamenting that she could not make her heating pad bigger, to cover more of the areas that was in pain. So I know she will love her giftt! I look the things up to see what the monetary equivalent is to the things I cash my points in for. My family knows I do this and they are glad. They worry about me having to spend money on them. I do end up buying a few things, but for the most part, I cash in all the stuff I've worked for on the internet.

Once I became sick enough to get on disability, I had to get creative. But I know hard times aren't limited ot me. So many of us on mylot are struggling to make things work, and most of them have a positive attitude about it.

I think that is a great way of getting Christmas presents for people.

No not yet, but I need to start because tihs is the best time to do it. If it's done now then you don't have to worry about it later and you don't have to worry about if you can get the right thing because it might not be there. I have two girls and I only need to buy toy for one because one is only 8 months, but I might still get her something small just so she can have something to open on x-mas day.

Both of my kids were 11 months old on their first Christmas. They got some toys, but were really not that into it. My daughter will be almost 2 this Christmas, so I think she will be more into it this year.
