I havent worked for eight months now and I have sold just about everything that was valuable to me (even stuff my deceased husband bought me as gifts.) Not my fault, I was unfairly dismissed and have just won the case against my ex employer, but am now struggling to get the money he is supposed to pay me and, in this country, you cant work whilst in dispute with an ex employer - how ridiculous is that! Anyway to answer your question, when you are hungry you will not only sell anything, but pretty much DO anything (withing the bounds of moral decency) to feed yourself and I have eaten stuff found in rubbish bins during this period, just to keep going.

I would most likely sell anything for food if I was desperate enough. Let me clarify and object, not any person or even any service. An object has a value and a life is invaluable so I would sell my clothes if it meant I would live to see another day... Of course I might reevaluate this answer if I was in the middle of a blizzard, or in the blistering heat of the desert.
