wrong when they kept deleting my payments, my very first payment request at that!!! The admin just admitted there is no money to pay members. Get this, he wants free members to invest more in thinkbux so he can pay the higher members. I am so done with this type of crap. I took the time to click AND read the darn ads and now I want my money. I will not pay anyone money to get MY money. Here is the pleading explanation of how the admin is trying to be so honest. Just breaks my heart. Enough already with the long drawn out explanations of how you cant run a successful ptc site! http://thinkbux.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5176

ARRRRGH! I'm beginning to think it's just as well to drop any site that ends in bux. Of course they're not the only ones guilty. I just checked my balance this morning and figured how many more days to payout. Now this!

Thats true, bux has a nasty reputation but they are not the only ones. I dont mind waiting the 60 days but reading that note and deleting my requests, I dont THINK they will ever pay me. They want me and other free members to put up or shut up.

i really admire the admin for confessing the truth that thinkbux now is suffering funds loss and requesting all members to understand the situation. i am a premium member of thinkbux and invested some of my earnings from my other programs. the purpose of canceling the previous payment request is the maximize profit of thinkbux and to be fair with other members. this is the toughest situation that thinkbux facing right now, for me, i don't mind the new TOS as long as still they will pay their members. premium will be paid within 20 business days, well, i can wait that long than they will stole our investment and gone. we need our patience now. i hope that tinkbux will recover from their loss.

Glad to hear that, coz i'm now starting to get addicted in that damn kind of site. Now i'm thinking if i should continue to patronize those kind of site or i will stop right now. Thanks for the info that this kind of site is not sincere on their promises.

I agree, if they are going to change their TOS, then they should pay members first. Then put whatever changes they want on the site.

Its good i haven't joined the site.they say they have payments in 24 hours.Anyways there are some sites that pay members initially but later they turn out to be scams.

Hi sergeantrom! Pretty sorry to hear that. I'm also a member of ThinkBux, I was always trusting this site for its good reputation, but now after hearing your situation I start to doubt it... Hope it wouldn't get into scam site anyhow!

I guess it depends on your definition of scam. They keep changing their TOS and now they dont want to pay free members for the work they did. Awh, um, I dont know but it kinda looks like a scam to me but thats just my 2 cents.

I have read everyones response & it seems everyone is sad except ralph. Well i will go with ralph since i have not earned $1 yet. I think there should be a transfer fund button so i could give my balance to those who is near payout so they can request payout everyday and makes the admin to cancel the payout many times a day. Anyone know such a button.

I wonder if all the free members keep putting in the requests, if that slows down all the payouts?? I would ban together and do this except its not the brilliant members fault? Why penalize them. Zerobux = zero dollars, for free members.

I have no involvement with THINKBUX, but I think they should close down their site and pay off the people to whom they owe money, even if they have to pay it out of their own pockets.

Yes I know there is new admin, started a post on that too. Most of those great benefits are for whatever ranking is Above premium status. Check the TOS.

I sympathize with the experience you've had with this site. I just went thru something similar with a site called Boomertowne. I joined that site because it was supposed to be the #1 rate social site for the boomer generation. And it WAS a fun site. You earned points for doing various things there. In June, they announced that there would be a delay in payments because they had to 'order' more gift cards. In late August, they announced that cards were being mailed out, please be patient. In September they closed. I've kept in touch with a lot of friends from there, and nobody ever received anything after May. They owed me over $200. Some people were owed considerably more. Make you wonder if some of these sites are owned by the same people.

Well, i for one hope to never hear from the man again. As long as you aren't he (heaven forbid), I think I'll just stick to MyLot and Pogo. I came here looking for friendships and the discussion board format that BT had, and I found it.

I think that since your chatting at my lot,it's innapropriate to talk about your money issues on other sites. Also it's not appropriate to ask questions like "how much money does my lot pay". I think that being involved with my lot is about making friends and havig interesting conversations about things not related to other sites or my lot.
