An Interesting question for all of you...

Someone posted something that made me think about this. A while ago, I saw one of the "Left Behind" films about the rapture of the Church. In the film, everyone disappears who goes up in the rapture. From the way the Bible reads, I think that is a pretty accurate description of what will happen. However, it dawned on me that since our bodies stay on this earth when we die and our spirits go to Heaven or Hell depending on who you've served while on earth, what if when we go up in the rapture, all of our bodies are left behind and there are suddenly all of these dead bodies everywhere? I'm just curious about how people would react if suddenly all of these people around them suddenly die inexplicably for no reason (as far as they know). Even if we all just disappear from sight, just think of the reaction on earth. Anyway, it was a curious thought.

I like to look at it as us all just flat out disappearing from the earth with not even our bodies left behind. I can imagine the shock and surprise of everyone that is still here on earth when, say, a friend that was right next to them just up and disappears into thin air.

Yes, I think that would be pretty interesting too. Think how freaked out everyone would be at the sudden "phenomenon" that occurred right before their very eyes! I know I would be.

I have thought about the rapture. I also tend to believe with the world is going that it is near. I do believe if things keep going the way they are, the rapture will happen in my lifetime. I bet alot of people who didn't believe before will start belieiving afterwards.

I'm sure a lot of people will start believing after the rapture. The problem is that they will have to endure the Tribulation. I'm glad I'm going up in the first load. I don't want to be here to go through all the garbage with the Anti-Christ. It's hard enough seeing things the way they are now much less then.

I know I have fallen off the path. But I still believe and pray. I take my kids to church on Sunday nights. They actually enjoy going. I wish I could get my husband to go. But he thinks religion is for weak minded people. I didn't know this before I married. I learned alot after that paper was signed.

Interesting, as I have just this week started reading the book. I am already half way through it. I am not sure how I would react. Fear, despair. Who knows.
