Hi MyLotters, I am sure that a lot of you is registered on the big Ebay. So, you are accepting payments through Paypal? I know that many purchasers, on-of-all foreign, pay with PayPal and after some days open a Dispute for Object Not Received, after it will be a Complaint to rescue the money for their object also if they have received it. Scam!! They have object and money back, the seller remain with NOTHING! Do you know it? Did it happen to you??

Unfortunately, later this month, Paypal is going to be the only form of payment you are supposed to accept. Of course, if the buyer wants to pay via another way acceptable to you, like with a Money Order, you may do so. I also only sell inside the US and ship everything with delivery confirmation. Anything over $100 is insured, so if the buyer claims they didn't get it, then I have confirmation from Paypal stating the buyer never received the item. Over $200, I ship with delivery confirmation and insurance. There are way too many scammers looking for sellers that aren't familiar with Paypal shipping rules and they prey on those sellers. Sorry to hear this happened to you.

I understand your concern, but I can't insure items outside of the US, nor can I comply with Paypal's rules of having a delivery confirmation and/or signature confirmation outside the US. If someone claims they didn't get an item, without delivery confirmation or signature confirmation, Paypal will immediately credit the buyer. If I'm selling $300 items, I can't take the chance that the buyer isn't a scammer. If there was another way, I'd do it. But Paypal has made it very tough to be a seller and they've forced me to limit my potential customers to those in the US. I'm not happy about because I'd probably get more bids and many more sales if I was able to include the rest of the world!!! Unfortunately, Paypal has tied my hands in this matter. It's so bad, I doubt I'll be selling much of anything on eBay after the holidays this year. It's a shame because eBay used to be fun, but now it's too much of a hassle and making sure I've complied with every little Paypal rule is eating into to much of my profits.

huuunh?! What about the good ones that actually want the item and are willing to pay and not scam anyone, that are from outside of the US? D= what about us? If everyone starts doing that then we won't get a chance anymore, now would we? w

I am on ebay and with paypal. I only accept paypal AND I have my setting set really high so that not just anyone can bid on my auctions. Maybe that is wrong, but I am protecting myself. I also don't deal with people outside the US.
