What's your favorite church sign quotation? Bumper sticker?

Hey! I actually do know what a pasty is. In northern Michigan, they are quite popular although I've never had one. I believe that they are made with rutabagas there. The straits of Mackinac is a very touristy area and there are signs everywhere there for Pasties. I had no idea that they were an English thing though. Somehow I had thought that they were German. Don't know why.

Sorry I shouldn't have assumed you didn't know what one was but it does help the other mylotters who don't. German? Hahaha. The tradition goes that when the men used to go down the tin mines they used to take a pasty with them but half would be filled with the savoury mixture of what I explained before and the other half would be dessert like stewed apples so that they didn't have be disturbed from their work. You are right about the rutabaga but we call it swede in the uk. If anyone puts carrots in theirs THEY'RE WRONG!! I even have a charm on my bracelet of a Cornish pasty!

Yes, in one of my wifes blog sites she wrote an obituary for it. LOL God will provide me another means of transportation. I believe He care for me enough to do so. I am praying that he does so with out me having to go into debt for it. I have not paid an car payment in 3 years. No need to start now.

We've been without a car payment for about a year now. It's been rather difficult at times though with all the repairs needed on old vehicles. There are many things that we just let go. Mostly with the electrical system (2 windows don't work - mucho dinero to fix)But we keep saying that this is God's car. And he keeps it running. I'm certain that God will get you another one. That reminds me. Have you ever seen "facing the Giants"? I cried when the guy got his truck. It's a great Christian movie if you haven't seen it yet. Thanks again:)

I loved that movie as well. And if you want to send me a New truck I am ok with that too. :) Speaking of movies, my wife and I went and saw Fireproof the other day. If you thought Facing the Giants was good Fireproof was just as good if not better!
