What color are the walls in your home?

Do you paint your walls? Do you paint them bright colors? Or white or bone or neutral? Mine are white, plain. It looks so nice in the picture or the magazine, but I just don't think deep red or brown and such would look right here. I wish I could pull it off! Once I did do a bathroom a pastel green and it turned out ok, maybe I'll try the bedroom soon.

I've been married for almost six years now but unfortunately, my spouse and I still can't afford to purchase our own house and lot until now. At present, we are residing in a rented house with two small bedrooms. It costs expensive but luckily, we are sharing the house and the rent with my other three younger siblings. They are the ones who occupy the two rooms and we are left with no other choice but to convert the sala or living room into our sleeping room at nighttime. To avoid any misunderstanding with the owners of the house, we are keeping the white-painted walls as they are. But in the future when we already have our own home, I told my husband that I'll be the one to make and design the plan of our house. For the walls in particular, I'd want to have white walls made of marble or those glossy / silky material which is most common with buildings. This way, I don't have to spend on painting and repainting the walls every now and then. Not to mention the labor cost if I have to hire other's services for the job.

My living room is dark purple on two walls then we put a lighter glaze ragging technique on the other two walls, It look ok but now I wished we only used one color on all four walls, like only the dark purple because the ragging glaze walls are too light in color to match the other dark purple walls. But Me and my husband plan on paining our bed room and my son's bedroom soon, probably blue for my son's room ( he loves blue and were not sure what color we will color our room yet. Both room's have white walls right now and I think our bed would look so nice next to a darkly painted wall , we have a pewter metal canopy bed frame and it looks hardly visible next to white walls. You should try to paint your walls, it's really fun , try rag rolling methods with light colors.. Buy a few trading spaces books to get ideals.

It's light yellow with brown borders. I didn't paint them though. Someone else did it for us. Sometimes, I want to paint it a new color but it's just so difficult here in our country.Unlike in America where it is inspiring to do makeovers.

We are rather conservative, so we went for something neutral in the living hall. We painted it vanilla white and one wall (feature wall), dark yellow. I was initially worried about the contrast, but it turned out okay!

The walls in our condo are light yellow and I love them. It really brightens up the place. It is really cheery too. I've seen other condos in white, gray, burnt red. I'd have to say I like mine the best, tough the grayish green color looked okay as well. We also have a blue wall in our bedroom. It was that way when we moved in and I hate it. Someday I'll get up the motivation to paint over it... White would be much much better. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

The majority of my walls are painted antique white. The walls in my son's room are painted a bright yellow. I have accent walls painted in several of my rooms and they are all the same color.... it is a color called Sculpted Stone, it is actually a green, very natural looking.
