My friend started her own canteen business and what makes her hard to think is what to prepare in merienda time. People are already tired eating turon, banana que, spaghetti, and pancit bihon...Thats why shes asking for help on what to prepare on merienda. Any idea?

Why is sandwich not in her list? she can try that. Hamburger too would be profitable. Try kwek-kwek, pugo, vegeball, tempura, and siomai. She can also add fruit shakes and other refreshing drinks too. Good luck to your friend. Happy posting!!

It seems tough to think of, how about mais con yelo? Or plainly, corn (either on cob) or the ones with cheese flavor. Shake can also be one. You can access some ideas from this link: http://www.mixph.com/2007/05/pinoy-merienda-recipes.html.

There's a lot of varieties of snacks that she can choose from, like those different kind of pancit, palabok, mami, ginataang bilo-bilo, ginataang mais, suman, puto, kutsinta, palitaw, sapin-sapin, majablanca etc.. She can acompany those foods with fruit shakes and fruit juices. Good luck..

Yes, I am tired of eating same snacks over again. She could try gulaman mixed with milk and buko, not the one you could drink, but the molded gulaman. Or camote que and camote chips, boiled banana with syrup, anything made cassava also delicious like cassava pudding or cake or balls. I'm hungry now :)
