Kimbo Slice Vs Ken Shamrock

on aug 25th 2008, they announced that ken shamrock will meet kimbo slice on october 4th. but before the match, during warm up, shamrock got a headbutt. so seth petruzelli replaced shamrock. but what the surprise is, kimbo slice was defeated in 14 seconds itself. does anyone see this match?

Oh yeah I seen the match on espn sportscenter highlights,lol. Yeah the highlight was the whole match. Kimbo was caught off guard. He went for a swing and slipped down and thats where the fighter just started opening up a number of hits on him. I think the referee stopped the match too early as Kimbo easily got up after the match was stopped. I don't know if he could have gotten up off the ground though as the other guy was hitting Kimbo so fast and with so many punches. Kimbo looked shocked and in disbelief more than anything. The other guy was much faster compared to Kimbo. I don't know his name whoever he was fighting. I remember them saying he was a replacement for Ken Shamrock. The fall to the ground by Kimbo seemed more than anything due to old age as the other fighter was obviously younger than him.

He got beat in 14 seconds?! That's stunning to hear after all this build. He was supposed to be the face of EliteXC, which I guess is the 2nd biggest MMA promotion out there with UFC being #1. Kimbo will have to rebound if he is to prove that he can win matches no matter what the circumstances are and could force him to improve his skills. That is all I can say.
