Lose weight at a speed of 0.5kg/day, is it too fast?

I'am a fat girl, especially in China where girls there are mostly very slender and petite.60kg with a height of 163cm. shopping is definitely my nightmare.All beautiful clothes i like couldn't fit my figure. i guess there maybe some factors of heritage.Because my mum and grandmother are both fat.i've decide to lose weight when i was in high school.but the way i've tired was not diet or sports but pills. I'm too lazy to do any sports. pills to me are the easiest way.But they didn't work at all.what lukcy to me was they didn't do much serious harm on my healthy. while,on 1st Sep, one of my friends told me that she told me that she has been managed to lost 15kg in a half year. i asked the key."never had ur dinner." she said,"i haven't had my supper for a half year. and u know that i am lazy to do any sport.that should be the easy way." i was really so amused by her achievement. so i decided to do as her told.it started on 20th Sep, i never had my supper from then. only eat braskfast and half of my lunch.and four days ago, my weight was 54.4.that means 5.5kg in 12days, nearly 4.6kg per day!! the speed is so fast that i dare not to do this. but i do feel that my healthy becomes much worse.easily tired,ill.i don't know what should i do now.if i eat in normal,my weight would be back quickly.i've tired these days. it shows my guess. OMG, what should i do now? eat or not eat? dilemma to me! dear friends here,i need your opinions to help me out this dilemma.i am really so helpless.thank you very much!

as great as shedding those pounds are, its very risky. ur body is really weak. ur losing all ur muscle mass thats for sure. EAT EAT EAT! and dont be lazy to exercise. pick up a hobby. just do it :)

thank you very much! to tell truth i don't wanna use this way . bcz i've been ill for a month due to not eat. that's definitely do great harm to my body.i have to quiz this. then i have to ...force myself not too lazy to do pracise.(*^_^*)

Eat! Do eat seriously. I mean, when you diet, you are actually losing more muscles than fats. So you would become very weak. The key is moderation. What you eat is very important. Eat enough, don't overeat. If you're having some oily food, you can use a tissue to blot out the oil.

thank you,but hard to tell, if u say the key is control ur diet well, much healther,i do think i could ,bcz i've learnt some course on nurtrition. but maybe that's bcz my radix is huge. they need especailly treat

You should eat!! When I was in my 20''s I tried to loose weight by fasting, skipping meals etc and the result is a lower metabolism and more weight than ever to loose. I know how you feel as a large woman living in a skinny country, I live in Japan!! Can you get Totucha, it is a Chinese tea that helps with weight lose. Good luck Jacks

hmmm... since you say your mum and granny are both horizontally challenged.. would that be because of genetics? anyhow... you might want to start with cutting down on your food. According to many taiwan artists, stop eating after 6pm daily and you'd lose some weight (i think it was stated by Wilber Pan that he lost about 3kg in a month just by abstaining from food after 6.) next up, you might want to look at your diet. i realize that as chinese, we tend to drink soups. And in these soups we add stock (or MSG aka salt) which isn't healthy. So this is what i do whenever i cook my soup. i add in my chicken into the pot & add water. Next i add in chopped carrots, corn, potatoes. You can add in chopped onions too. Boil it & VIOLA you get sweet tasting soup. what's best is that there isn't any additional "fat" or msg or flavouring needed & it makes you eat some vegies. According to my mum, carrots and corn and onions as well as potatoes (to an extent for potatoes) are natural flavourings... and depending on your lifestyle, trying walking more. probably take the stairs or alight one bus stop earlier than your destination and walk the rest of the way. Last but not least drink loads of fluid. Plain water namely. Sometimes, pure tea (meaning brew using tea leaves) with no added sugar nor milk can help to detox and clear your intestines. This helps to reduce your tummy by a little. (Or so i wish to think)

eek! as great as shedding those pounds sound! but ur body is really weak. u could easily faint and die!!!
