I found this song not so long ago, and it remind me of something that made me happy.
A long time ago
Pennies from heaven
A million years BC
The best things in life
Were absolutely free.
But no one appreciated
A sky that was always blue.
And no one congratulated
A moon that was always new.
So it was planned that they would vanish now and them
And you must pay before you get them back again.
That's what storms were made for
And you shouldn't be afraid for
Every time it rains it rains
Pennies from heaven.
Don't you know each cloud contains
Pennies from heaven.
You'll find yor fortune falling
All over town.
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down.
Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers.
If you want the things you love
You must have showers.
So when you hear it thunder
Don't run under a tree.
There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me
This remind me of a time when all three of us found several dollars in pennies behind a trash container. I believe there were like five dollars.
And another time where I found some change in a ash tray on a trash can outside a shell gas station (almost a dollar worth) I am always lucky in finding change.
So, yes, it does rain pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters for me.
I wonder if any of you have ever founds several pennies? nickles? dimes? quarters?

My grandmother has always said you should always pick up coins even a penny because most of us are never rich enough to pass up any amount of money even a penny. They do add up eventually. Look at us here on myLot. We earn pennies a day and they add up to payouts.

Of course I would rather find Loonies and Toonies and if you are not Canadain those are one and two dollar coins respectively. We have 1 and 2 dollar coins here in Canada FYI.

Hi Shelly, I am always finding pennies on the street, sometimes 5p and 20p too but the weirdest find was in a house I used to live in (my daughter had an invisible friend there) and we used to get 2 penny pieces thrown down the stairs when no-one was upstairs, very strange, but to me they were indeed fefinitely pennies from Heaven. Huggles. Ellie :D

I guess that song is very apt for you and others who are lucky like you. I do not have such kind of luck but I do believe that there is wealth in this world that transcends our expectations if we only look at the deeper meaning of life. Cheers!!
