I am living in Egypt and haven't seen one! But these are the animals that they have here in Egypt, that I heard of, Sand Cat, Scorpion, Saw-Scaled Viper, Fennecs, (desert foxes) and of course Camel, and I don't think Camel are that dangerous because they been using Camel for transportation for so many years. I guess Egypt doesn't have that much compare to other countries! What about in your country? How many dangerous animal do you have? What I mean is the local animal in your country. Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm we have alot of dangerous things here in the US. But as for animals I'd have to say grizzly bears or mountain lions. If we are talking about reptiles it would be things like aligators, rattlesnakes, coral snakes, copperheads and water moccasins. Insects would be scorpions, tarantulas, fire ants and killer bees. I'm sure there are other things dangerous that are out there, but those are the ones that come to mind first here.

Maybe it is a lion, which I don't encounter. However, I am sared of the snakes. Thus, personally, I think snake is most dangerous animal.

CJay 77 here in the US I think themost dangerous animal is a male criminal who is on the prowl to do evil to hisfellow men. Humans do far more horrible things to other humans than any animal predator known to man.

In the sea are sharks, sea snakes.. The blue ringed octopus and the worlds only poisonous cuttlefish can be found in the area as well. On the land the snakes are the principal danger. Cobra are aggressive and should't be approached. There are poisonous spiders but only one species is considered to pose a risk to life. The philippines has its own species of crocodile. The Philippines eagle is impressive. Its grow to 1m tall with a wingspan of 2m..

You mean wild animals ? Because the animals which can't be tamed are wild in nature and people think that these animals are dangerous. If you are talking about poisonous creatures, then we have four types of poisonous snakes in India amongst numerous types of snakes namely, Cobra, Krait, Russel Viper and Viper. We have several poisonous insects like wasps, Honety bees, Scorpions etc. Tigers, Lions, Cheeta, Leapard, bear, wolves, hyana, crocodiles, constrictor snakes like pythons are few animals to be mentioned which are flesh eaters and can be dangerous to human beings if provoked. The elephant which is a domestic animal in India can also become wild and there have been many incidences where an elephant has killed many people at a time! We have some poisonous fish too! But people relish these fish and they are popular amongst the Non veg eaters as table top delcacies ! India ia such a woderful country will all types of terrains including mountains, deserts, plains, Oceans, water reservoirs etc and this makes a wonderful place for the wild animals to survive! Thanks ! It was indeed a good topic of discussion and I liked it !

Hi AKRao, I mean any kind of animals that can be dangerous! I lived in India and haven't seen one either because we lived in the city. I never realized that you have a lot there, until now that you respond, and thank you very much for this. Once I saw in the news that leopard attack a woman somewhere in the province and get killed. I agree that India is a wonderful country, so many nice people and a lot of tasty food. Thank you so much for a lovely sharing. Y

Wow! You've gotten so many interesting and sometimes funny responses to this post! Are your foxes in Egypt very big? Just curious because we have foxes here in the US, but they are small, about the size of a cat or slightly bigger, so they are not really dangerous to people, altho I guess they could bite. We have bears, mountain lions, wolves, which all can be dangerous enough to kill a person, but they rarely bother people. Usually, if one starts to come near where people are and attack a person, there is something wrong with it, that makes it not be able to hunt well -- at least that is what they say on the TV! We have alligators here. They are supposed to not be as dangerous as crocodiles, but they are still dangerous and I have heard of them attacking people in Florida. Sharks probably attack more people tho. We have many types of poisonous snakes. IN my state (north carolina) alone I think there are 4-5 kinds of poisonous snakes. But being bitten by one here is not common. I think in some other states they have a higher number of snake bites. We also have 2 poisonous spiders, but bites from them are fairly uncommon too. There are sometimes dangerous dogs, but they are the result of being taught by dangerous people.

Hi thedogshrink, Lol, yes I've got some interesting and funny ones responses, shows that everybody has different opinions. I haven't seen the desert foxes here and I don't know how to download the photo! And here some info that I copied. These wide-eyed little furballs are fennecs, or desert foxes. They are found all over Egypt, but mostly in the desert areas, where they have evolved to fit life in the desert quite well. Their small bodies (the fennec is the smallest fox in the world, about the size of a very small dog) minimize the loss of body heat and water, while their large eyes and ears allow them to see and hear both predator and prey very easily. Fennecs are often kept as pets (not recommended for wild ones), and if they are born and raised in captivity, can be quite docile. They have proven to be very popular in America, and professional fennec breeders are becoming more common. I watch Good Morning America every morning here, and one time I saw a woman been attack by black bear and its scary though! Thank you so much for sharing of some wild animals and poisonous ones from your country. Have a nice day.

As the braver1987 told that the most dangerous animal is human cant you thing this is a correct sentence. Even we can believe the animals they will not bite us. But it is difficult to believe the human beings every laughing and every action as some regions . Even we can study about the animals. Till now it is very very difficult to study human beings.

The United States is a huge country with many different terrains and climates, so to name them all would be difficult. So I will tell you about my part of the country. I am from the northern midwest. We have black bears in my state although I have never seen one. We also supposedly have rattle snakes and they are not something I have run into either. Mountain lions have been recently spotted in the southern and far northern portions of my state as well. We have Moose and Elk which can be dangerous during mating season or if you find yourself between the mother and her calf. Unless you were to live in the forest, most people do not encounter any of the animals.

Hi rocketj1, I haven't seen bears or black bear also! I'm so scared of any kind of snake especially the poisonous ones! I agree that most wild animals are in the forest and I'm sure that some people who lives in the forest or near the forest knows how to deal with wild animals. Thank you so much for sharing and have a nice day.

In india, there are so many wild animals.. but as those animals are in forests living no problem for humans. but two things which are head ache to city peoples are snakes and elephant(elephant problem occurs rarely). snakes gives much torchur to humans whose houses were located near by lands. but these snakes dont know that humans are dangerous. even if snake crosses the road, people will gather together, surroundby and kill the snakes. but these things will not happen with elephant cases. i had sawed with my own eyes elephants killing 3 persons, by kicking them like a football, in a function ceremony. in india, especially south end, elephants are dangerous. other places snakes. in some other places dogs too, which are not cared by anyone and always roaming on streets.

Hi raghul77, I have lived in India for a year, and thankfully that I never encountered snakes because I'll freak out. I'm so scared of dogs also, so whenever I'm walking and saw a dog, I'll try to change my way. That's scary about the elephants, and you saw it with your own eyes, I hope that your ok. I don't think I saw an elephant in my life! Thanks for sharing.
