can i download Microsoft word online?

i don't get it because i thought stuff like Microsoft office that includes PowerPoint and Word are included in the operating system of my laptop but here in my laptop, i only have a WordPad and no PowerPoint, Excel, and MS word. i can just buy a software cd but i am also thinking if there is a site online that allows people to download this stuff? do you know a place where i can download Microsoft word and PowerPoint? if you can recommend a site for me, then i am extending my big thanks in advance! Thank you so much!

you can't legally. Ypu can try a 90 day trial version but when it expires, then it is gone. The best option is to use free Open office. It has a product named Writer that can work with most Word format.

ms office is never free so you will not have it included in your operating systems except for a trial period at which time they will offer you the chance to purchase full package.
There are a number of places you could download MS Word most are not free and the ones that are free are illegal so please be careful.
If you are determined then i would suggest you use azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) and then search the various websites for torrents.
but remember soem people use this as a way to pass on viruses and it is illegal :) the choice is yours :)
