Who among the bible characters you admired most and why?

People in the bible gave us an example of living a very meaningful life. Most of them committed their whole lives serving God. They don't bother sacrificing, offering themselves and accepting the great commission God gave them. I just want ask you whose life among the bible characters you admired most and why?

Best example, Jesus! Perfect example of what it means to know the Father.
Hard to pick any other example as they all teach us something about endurance and faith.

Personally, I love to read about Paul. He went from being one of the worst of the worst (he was part of the mob that stoned the first Christian martyr!) to being the man who penned the largest part of the New Testament. He was jailed, beaten and generally mistreated for his faith and yet he still could say "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" (Phillipians 4:4)
