How many miles a week do you run?

Right now I run about 50, am just curious what others do? And if you run to keep fit or to race races?

About 20. depends on the weather and the amount of classes I have that week but I love running

Oh, it varies. Currently I'm running about 70 miles a week. I'll probably bump that up to around 95-100 once I'm out of college to start traning for the marathon. I run for both but manily racing. I love it the compatition. But then afterwards you can could mingle with all the fellow runners. It's a nice social situation people are all normally so nice!

I have only been running about 3 to 5 miles a week for these past few weeks due to sprained ankles. But now that they're healed, I'll be bumping it back up to 15 miles per week. I want to increase it gradually to about 25 miles per week hopefully by the end of this year.

I run about 15 miles a week. In the process of increasing my base. My base is currently 3 miles a day. Trying to get it up to 5. I run every other day as I just can't keep up with every day running.

I have only been doing about 2 to 3 miles, and that is on the treadmill. As a matter of fact, I am mostly just walking. I only run when I get up to my top speed, which is about 4 and a half to 5 miles per hour at this point. I am gradually building, but I don't think that I could ever get up to 50 miles in a week. That is tremendous. Then again, you never can tell. At this point, I am just doing the treadmill for exercise. In the summer, I walk outdoors or ride my bike. Hopefully, I will be more active in the future. Would love to actually lose some weight instead of just maintaining!

You will do it, just keep at it! I've never run on a treadmill before, but I guess I run about 6.2 miles per hour on streets. You should try to run on a track or something to get an accurate estimate of how long a mile takes you currently. Then if you want to make yourself happy and motivated, keep at it on the treadmill, and go out to the track again in a month or so. You'll be faster. :)

I average about 25-40km a week. I've picked up road cycling lately so I have to sacrifice some running time for cycling time.

I don't run much, but I probably walk a few miles everyday going to work, school and whatever. I need to start exercising more. lol
