Friend's post..

Do you give preferance to the discussions started by you friends?..Some may be interesting and some may not be..What do you do when you don't find a topic of discussion started by friend not very interesting..Do you still respond or just avoid it..

Yes, friends are most important to me on mylot and I try to reply to their posts on priority basis. Most of the time I am able to respond to their discussions. I have added some member as friends because our interests are similar, therefore, they are likely to start discussions, which may evoke interest and ignite me to reply. However, sometimes it may happen that their posts are such that I am not able to contribute, in that case, I do not post my response and they do not take it otherwise. They also do not fail to respond to my posts, whenever I go for a new one.

I try to inform my friends through PMs etc. when I do not respond to their particular discussion and I have good understanding with some of my dear friends here, who understand the reasons for me not responding to their discussions, even without communication. My friends normally start those discussions, which could be replied by one and all.

A lot of the times I try to find a friend's post and respond to it in kind. I try the best I can and I also want to help with my opinion or advice. Yes, there can be times when I might not be sure how to answer a friend's post or I don't have experience with what they are speaking of.
If it doesn't hold interest with me perhaps I might by pass it but I try not to if I can.

Yes I do prefer answering my friend's posts first but than I proceed to answer posts which attract my interest. I do not answer threads which do not attract my interest or that I am not that knowledgeable about.

I do spend most of my time with the discussions that my friends have started. Sometimes as you say, their discussions will also be boring(not to my interest). In that case, I will just ignore it and then will start my search for some good topics.
I prefer the recent list next to what my friends have started. I also look in to hot topics. I don't reply to any discussion if I find it to be boring. I don't mind about who have started it. Happy mylotting.
