my favorite tennis player from 1980s to late 1990s is boris becker because he change tennis for the better he made the game exciting to watch and lived and breathed tennis ,some tennis player just show up and play ,like roger federar ,as long as roger federeer plays i wll avoid watching mens tennis he ruins the sports, because he so good and lacks chrisma, and passion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say Maria Sharapova! Not just for her gorgeous and sexy look but also for her playing style as well as her never say die attitude. Another one which really impress me recently would be Caroline Wozniaki from Denmark, reason being that she play tennis like a real woman unlike some female tennis players who have to play like a man to win a match. I enjoy the final of Australia Open 2008 when Maria Sharapova was up against Ana Ivanovic because its one of the grand slam final in history where 2 of the hottest women in tennis battle it out for the title. I also enjoyed the quarterfinal of US Open 2009 when Caroline Wozniaki defeated Melanie Oudin with her real woman power.

My favorite tennis player is rafael nadal. He has a specialty on clay surface. And he has also beaten the World's number one Roger Federer.

rafael nadal for the men's, i just love to watch him play..his game is based on power and i like it..though roger is more graceful on court and moves swiftly while playing, i still like nadal more, he's got the game face and is simply amazing.. maria sharapova for the womens, i like his mental power..how he hangs on even if she's one set down and still trailing on the 2nd set, she will never give up, and she's done it a lot of times - winning a match after being down 1 set and then behind 5-2 on the second..too bad she's been plagued by injuries lately..
