Hey guys do you know any site where you can get your website designed for free? If you are having a website, how did you design it? By yourself or by anyother person. Give me some tips to make a good website.

Try freewebs.com I have a website there but haven't updated it since I made it because I am working on my blog. PM any questions about the site though.

As far as i know presently freewebs.com is the most popular free website builder..To make a good website first you need to have enough valuable information to give to the readers of the content you are going to make your website on..And make sure you know your competitors well enough in advance!!

I think GeoCities still has a page builder. A WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get), meaning you can drag pictures and text to where you want them on the page. I am not sure about this since it has been a long time since I have used GeoCities.
If not, NetScape Composer is a free program for designing websites. It comes as part of the Netspace 7.2 browser which can be downloaded from netspace.com.
This program's appearance may remind you of any writing program like Notepad or Microsoft Word. If you want a website with tutorials, I think w3schools is a good site and should help.
