            What is everyones veiws and thoughts on PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals). Love them. Hate them. And Why do you feel this way.

                    PETA used to be a much different organization than it is today. Back in the late 80's or early 90's, they promoted animal rights without judging and condemning people the way they do now. I used to belong to it, but not these days. Every view they hold now is a black and white demand, that you have to never eat eggs or drink milk, let alone eat meat, or they act like you don't care at all. I think they have probably discouraged some people from getting into animal rights. Mostly, it is not that their views are too extreme- but that their methods are. Although, yes, the views are more extreme than in the past. It used to be OK if you were simply a vegetarian, but now they want you to be completely vegan, for example.

                            They are a 30 million dollar a year organization yet they will not became a no kill animal shelter, it makes no sense to me. I'm beginong to wondr if its not all about the money.
