blog: only one or many?

I have a blog. I wrote everything in my blog. Now I'm writing books. Sometime I wrote about my books in my blog. The purpose is to promote my books. Sometime I invited my blog readers to buy my books. I'm seriously thinking to make another blog dedicated to my books. So far I have written four books and why not I have five blog? (One just rumbling about anything and one each dedicated to my book). After a while I'm thinking just to concentrate to only one blog and write everything there. There are pro and cons to have one or many blog. Do you have any advice?. Thank you

How would you find time to write five blogs in addition to writing books! I have two blogs, and one of those is for promoting my writing (articles). The second blog is for my thoughts about life. I think you could limit the number of blogs to just two, one for promoting all your books, and one for "rumbling about anything". It is your own personal decision, of course, but blogs do take up a lot of time, not just for posting on, they require time to promote and build up traffic.

You are right paid2write. How come a person can managed to write five blogs at one time. I agreed with you, just have one or maximum two blogs only. However the idea of mini-blog or sub-blog may be can be thought of. Mini-blog means a simple blog with good URL name to promote the item (book in my case). Let saya I wrote a book on "blue ocean", than my URL perhaps will be blueoceanbook.com which I have to pay for the domain name or may be just blueocean.myjica.net which is sub-domain to my existing domain name. It's free anyway. Mini-blog or sub-blog just a page or two about the subject matter and writen once a while. Rest of the time may be waiting for online order or answer questions from reader. Thank you for your thought and now I wont write five blogs instead.

Well, i had the same problem several months ago when i had 2 blogs. But i just could get along with writing on both of them so i just decided to write only in one of them

At this moment I have many blogs. It's belong to my organization while I'm one of the writer. It's no problem because tehere are many writers. As for personal, I just keep updating one blog only. With your advice, I will keep one and only one blog. Thank you.
