Married or divorced?

My parents are still married. They've been married for 25 years. My dad's parents got divorced when he was six. He was the one who discovered that his dad was having an affair. His sisters still blame him for it. His dad ended up having a total of three marriages, so I don't think that it was my dad's fault.

My parents are married. They celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on August 29th. I know the first ten years were hard on them, especially my mom. My dad was a bit of a workaholic, and although he was trying to help people, he did neglect family time as well as my mom's needs. But when my mom got sick it was like his eyes were opened. Somtimes my mom tells me she can't believe how much he has changed, and how lucky she is to be married to her best friend. I realize I'm blessed to have them, because I can't imagine them being divorced. I admire kids who get through that without a lot of scars. And yes, some people are better off divorced, as hard as that is to say.

My parents got divorced when I was 3 or 4. They were unhappy married and my dad was a bad parent (sorry, but it's true). I didn't get very close to him as a kid and I'm still not. I was better off totally due to the fact that they were divorced.

There's no divorce in the Philippines. I grew up with both of them. My parents are still together under one roof. They're not in the best of terms (with their age now, both above 60!) but at least they are together. Not fighting, just not talking. My sister and I are both of age already and we realized it is really better this way.

My parents are still married and celebrated 43 years this past June.

My parents are still married. Thank god. Even though my dad is bad tempered. But my mum is a wonderful wife with lotsa patience. I can see that my dad is better than before. At least now he doesn't get angry so easily.
