BBC Lionheart

I started watching with Tom Baker later caught episodes from all of the first 7 or 8 Doctors. The new series has most of the charm with a bit more edge and much better effects. The fact that it opened the way for returning favorites like Sara Jane, K-9, and the master has made for some great spin-offs but I haven't seen much of them since I didn't have cable for over a year.

I'm sorry you've missed them. My friend hasn't had cable in a long time, but we invite him over or burn him torrents so he can watch them. Oh, you didn't hear that - did you.

I'm guessing that would come under the heading of questionable activity but, with DVR built into the cable and satalite boxes and more providers making it possible to transfer saved shows to computer and portable vidio players, I doubt there is much that could really be done. Like the VCR it tends to eliminate the expectation of protection on things that are broadcast.
