i mean really, really shop? like sky is the limit shopping? i remember the last shopping all out shopping i had was before i got married. not that my husband doesn't allow me too but i guess i just wanted to make it on a first things first basis. i can go shopping if i wanted too, but i always think on saving for the rainy days. thankful enough that i realized this earlier or this will be the cause of quarrel between me and my husband.lol

I'm usually too tired with work so on my days off, I rarely go out. I usually spend my time doing chores, on the internet or else watching anime dvds. Sometimes, my husband complains that I don't have enough clothes! So once a week, he surprises me with new stuff and I'm very thankful. In high school and college when my dad was giving me allowances, I used to shop all the time. As I got older, I lost interest in shopping. I now enjoy looking at my bank account.

Well, it's been quite some time since I did some serious shopping for long hours. If I'm not mistaken, the last time was when I shopped with my younger female sibling. She was still a college student then while I was already employed as an accounting staff with my first employer way back 1997 to 2002. And every weekends, it used to be a routine for both of us to visit the malls while we do window shopping or some real shopping. Naturally, I paid for all of the stuff we bought; be it mine or hers or for home use, because I was the one working. But like you, since I got married more than five years ago, I rarely go out with my siblings or go shopping anymore. I guess there are more important things or matters which should be prioritized than shopping. There are more bills to pay, loans still outstanding, and we still have no savings for our child's future education. But sometimes, I really miss shopping because we have considered this as a type of recreation during those days.

I'd have to agree that mine was before I was married. I used to shop all the time for anything & everything. My husband does let me shop, but because I don't work, I feel kind of bad taking the money he worked hard for to go shopping with. Obviously he doesn't care if it's something I need, but I've also learned to be more frugal with my money after being married
