Hello everyone! It's the time of the day where we eat merienda or afternoon snacks! So, what is your favorite Pinoy merienda of all time? Halo-halo? Bananaque? Ginataang Bilo-bilo? Lumpiang gulay? Pancit Luglog? Palabok? Kakanin? Bibingka? Isaw? Barbeque? Lugaw? Arroz caldo? Turon? Carioca?

Aww. You're in the States, right? You can still do cheese sticks over there. Except that the lumpia wrapper is expensive there, I think. ;)

I love bread! Any kinds of bread. It matches with any drinks i think. From a simple pan de sal to any bread with meat on/in it. I'm kind of fed up with native merienda simply because it's the most available come merienda time.

Oh i have plenty. I love fresh lumpia, pancit malabon, kamote cue, isaw, pancit guisado especially made by my mom. I also love biko, pitsi pitsi, sapin sapin. Oh my! All of this are my favorites. That actually depicts the word favorite. I can't help it, I love a lot really. This is the time of the day where I usually enjoy eating since it does not involve rice. Cuz all the other time that we eat usually involves rice since Filipinos are rice eaters and I feel that it's a necessity unlike meriendas, you get to eat what you really really like with pleasure. hihihi

I have a lot of favorite meriendas. Some of them are banana cue, pancit, biko, sapin-sapin, Aroz caldo and more. Aside from them I also often like to eat instant pancit canton and hot cake.. Have a nice day..

Mine would be bananacue, buko pie, peanut kisses, shawarma, ginataang gata, ginataang niyog, ginataang susi, (and all the food mentioned in "Overdrive" by Eraserheads except those derived from four-footed animals...hehehe). Cheers!
