Is a fetus already a human being?

Many of whom I know consider abortion during the early stage of the pregnancy acceptable since it is only a blood. I object to that kind of perception. I believe that from the moment the sperm cell unites with the egg cell, a human being is formed. Someone with a soul. So I am against abortion in spite of how early the stage is. I have no ill feelings for those who committed it since someone close to me did it, I'm against solely to the act. From your point of you, is termination of early pregnancy acceptable to you and to your country?

Well its a sensitive area and I am sure there are right and wrong answers. what if the woman was brutally raped and became pregnant is it fair she should carry the baby reminding her every day what happened to her? There are many reasons for abortion and like you I am not against anyone who has a respectful reason. As for the foetus being a human being .. is a human being not someone with feelings and emotions and the ability to think for themselves? a foetus does not have that until later in the pregnancy as it is not developed. the soul itself can not be determined when it is active maybe it is like a car petrol is put in when all the mechanical parts are made together so maybe the soul is given when the foetus has developed enough to encapsulate it. I think it is something we will never know.

yes I agree with you. I live in India and in our country abortions are not permitted.
