Tomorrow's my birthday.
Weird thing, I almost forgot.
So, I guess today is my birthday eve.
I'm pretty sure that I was in the process
of being born XX years ago, so it's sort of
an unofficial celebration for me.
And, less pressure than the real birthday.
At least, it's not triple digits!
I wish I had a cool birthday like on
Halloween. Then I could dress up like a goblin
and all my nonsensical behavior would be excused.
My daughter has the coolest birthday ever.
New years day.
She sees the neighborhood fireworks on
New Years Eve and thinks they are for her birthday!
I don't plan to tell her any differently.
I wish someone would celebrate me like that.

Do you celebrate your birthday on Mylot with
your friends, or just privately in your own home?

Happy birthday for tomorrow beautyqueen. My hubbys birthday is New Years day too and it's his 40th next year. Not sure what we are doing as money is tight but we shall see. The three of us usually celebrate it together :)

My birthday was in August. It's not a cool date or anything. But it is the 29th, so when Labor Day falls on the first, my birthday is the Friday of Labor Day weekend. That's the way it was this year, so my husband actually had the evening off, so we got to go out. Normally we wouldn't have been able to, since he works second shift.

That is cool birthday!
I wish my spouse were off work
on my birthday!
He's not.
But, funny thing is, most of the world
is off work on my daughter's birthday.
We got the girl gift basket at the hospital
where she was born for first baby girl born in the
new year there.
She made the other girl babies wait until
late that night to be born.
I've always thought she was busy getting her
hair fixed!

Happy....happy...birthday to you. Well a year older is surely going to make you wiser. I have not been celebrating my birthdays for many years now as whenever my birthday comes I feel sad and happy at the same time. Sad? because it reminds me that I am reaching my twilight period. A period of many uncertainities, onset of old age sickness is all in my mind. I am no longer spring chicken and have to be careful on diet and health. On the positive tone, well, it is a grand welcome for a new digit to our age . It is a blessing we are able to reach a new chapter in our life. Hey, I'm answering this today, so I can say Happy Birthday and it really is your birthday. I hope you have a good day, and hopefully someone has decided to treat you with a special gift, or maybe a cake? As for being born on a holiday, I have a friend born on October 30th, the day before Halloween. But one of my uncles was born on Christmas Day. Poor guy, he got shafted on gifts because of what day his birthday fell on. lol

Hope you had a great birthday. My birthday is at the end of August so I have to pt up with the August bank holiday when celebrating my birthday.
I wouldn't like my birthday on Christmas day, New Year Eve would be cool, a double celebration!! I think its sweet that your daughter thinks the fireworks are for her birthday. It will be a shame when she's older and realises that they weren't for her at all, but I suppose by then she will be too old to celebrate her birthday with fireworks!!

My birthday two months ago was no biggie to me. But, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Queen! My son's birthday is on flag day here in our country. As a small child I told him how special he was to have everyone put flags out to celebrate. LOL That is until he learned otherwise in school and called me on the lie. I hope you have a fun filled birthday and whatever you wish for comes true.

Happy birthday beauty queen!!!
Well, my birthday is not in the holiday list but I always celebrate it with my family and we just eat lunch or dinner. I even celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend and I treat him because whenever we go out, he always treat me so I insist. LOL!!!

I wish you all the joys life could bring! In my case, I always want a very simple celebration of my birthday, that wiht family members and few friends only. The most important thing for me on my birthday is going to the church to hear mass in thanksgiving for another year added. May you celebrate yours the happiest this year ever!

Happy birthday to ya!!! I don't have a cool birthday. I'm July 19th. But it works out kind of nice half the year away from Christmas so I don't all my presents at one time of the year. ;-)

well... first thing's first! Happy birthday eve!! lol and no, I really don't care too much about my birthday, and I don't have too much negative comments about it. Birthday is just a day that tells me I was.. born! I don't really celebrate my own birthday on myLot, as first of all, I joined myLot like 5 or 6 months after my birthday (I joined August I think, so my b-day is March) and I really take it seriously special. I just think of it as... "ah, I'm getting older.. lol" and just let it pass by haha happy posting :)
