it would be so strang if u say "i love u ,mum/dad" in China. Not we don't love them, but it's the traditional custom. Chinese are much connotative to express our gratitude or angry. so it's normal to hide this words in ur heart. i have been hoping the chance to say this words to my mum and dad. maybe in their birthday. but when i looked their eyes, i find this simple words are so difficult to speak out. then i shutted my door and sent a msg :"mum. i love u!" when i opened the door,i saw my mum standing outside my door tight holding her cellphone. i can see tears in her eyes. she was so moved to hear that.i hold her tight. since then i realized that maybe ur parents are not very used to hearing such direct words.but they do love hearing. many days ago, one of my friends here with me.it's her birthday. i suddently brought my gift to her and spoke softly:"i love u, honey.thank you be my friend" she was so shocked at that time bcz none said that to her before. and her tears fell down..... now, i realized that, u should never hide "i love u "to anyone u loved. they would definitely moved. it's the most sweet words in the world. maybe people around me think i am crazy to say this words to my family.my friends.but i don't care, bcz i say this truely and sincerely.as long as they are happy, i will say. did u say this to ur mum or dad?if not ,try now, u will find a different feeling.
