Save the poor dogs

There are a lot of things wrong with taking them home. No matter how "cute" a dog is, you need to be able to feed it, keep it groomed, get it to a vet and get it a check-up and shots. Guess how many times you can afford to do that? Noooot many. I suggest as an alternative if you see a dog running free, call animal control. This will reduce the chance of you being bitten by a hurt, frightened, or rabid animal and will ensure that this animal gets some sort of medical care - be it a full checkup and shots before being adopted out, or if the animal is sick it may need to be euthanized. Do not take a dog you see running free home. No dog is cute enough to convince me to risk harm trying to take it in.
