How much do anniversaries mean to you? / myLot

I've been together with my boyfriend for five years now, and we still dont know the exact date of our first date. It all started on our first year anniversary when one day I came to him and sad: " Darling, do you know we have our anniversary on saturday?" He didnt of course. So ok, since it was saturday and all we agreed to go out for a dinner. We bought small presents for eachother and went out. We're having dinner and good time, when suddenly I remember and say: "Darling we don't have anniversary today!!!!!!!!!! Its nex month!" hehehe we started to laugh and still dont know which date is correct one lol How much do you care for this things? Are they important or do you usually forget about them?

Hi there Mojcica! Anniversaries mean a lot to me. Besides the age of the relationship, it is all about celebrating and reminiscing and taking a good look about the whole relationship. How it started, its progress and how it is right now. What needs to be worked on, achievements and successes against the trials that you passed. I am not the type who forgets about anniversaries.

Hi there. Well we are celebrating our first year together... tomorrow but we also celebrated all the other months with exchanging some gifts, or making a special type of food or other things. They mean a lot to both me and my girlfriend as it shows more and more that we were meant for each other :)

anniversary means so much to me so it would somehow break my heart if my partner forget our important dates. i know guys suck when it comes to remembering dates but somehow my husband isn't like that. he still remember when he proposed to me for marriage :)
