What is the most challenging situation you have faced in life?

Every now and then, we experience varying situations. There are trials, hardships, pain, sorrow, joy, achievement, accomplishment and hope. Indeed life is full of mystery, we will never know what would happen until we continue accepting everything life could offer us. If this is life for most people, what is the most challenging situation have you faced in life?

Deciding whether to stay and fight or run away. I ran away from my problems and found out that you can never truly run away. It all catches up to you eventually.
