Years ago my son had a big problem with warts, over 60 of them between his hands and feet. The specialist we went to prescribed Tagamet in high dosage, this is a heart burn medicine and we were doubtful it would work but the doctor told us it would take 4-6 months and to give it time. I can happily report that after 6 months, with very minimal side effects (occasional upset stomach, about 1-2 times a month) all the warts were gone! He stopped taking the Tagamet and to this day, better than 5 years later, he has not had another wart! Has anyone else ever been treated with Tagamet? Do the warts ever come back?

That sounds very strange. I'd be leery of using it because it can do damage to the stomach over a period of time. If you put castor oil on a wart and keep it covered (duct tape is best because it doesn't let the air in), it will go away in about 6 weeks. I've used that before with good luck.
