I only have a child in 5k but it seems like there's tons of papers & art work & worksheets comming home and we've already misplaced a few.
What are your tips on keeping their papers organized? And in order?
Especially for those of you whom have more than one kid in school too, how do you keep it all straight & seperated? As #2 will be starting school soon as well.
thanks

First of all, I don't keep all the papers that my child brings home. I started to with my first child, but by the 4th one, forget it. I save the ones that have special meaning to me. I have an AVON Box that I have in my daughters closet and this is where I keep her special papers. The boys are old enough now that they could care less about me saving their papers, but I have theirs in a box in my closet.

I don't keep all their artwork either.
But she comes home w/ a ton of news letters & event flyers ect and it's just so overwhelming all the stuff they send home & the paper they waste on things.

Oh, now I get what you are talking about. I have a calendar hanging on the fridge. When I get the notices home, I write the information on the calendar so I can throw the paper away. If it is something that has to go back to school, I fill it out right then and send it back the next day. I also have a basket on my counter for other things that can't be thrown like fundraising stuff, football schedules ect.
