Is there a certain amount o money that you allow yourself to spend on jewelry during a certain span of time? I never buy jewelry, but I have seen some really amazing pieces that I just love. I feel like I can't justify spending the money and I'm wondering what a normal amount to spend on jewelry is?

Hi hcromer, I think it's a normal instinct for woman to love jewelry and it's true that almost all of them are charming and attractive. Since I rarely put on ornaments so I don’t need an extra budget for buying jewelry. I know very well I don’t feel comfortable or look attractive even if I wear jewelry I keep my wedding and birthday gift jewelries in the locker and I would watch them once in a while during my leisure. Sometimes I would have a pause to watch the beautiful and well designed jewelries in the displayed windows while hanging around in the shopping mall. I would get gem which believed to be my lucky stone only if I come across any which I’m really interested and of course with reasonable price which is within my ability as well. posting and have a nice day.

I know of people with such things in their budgets but I don't know how they justify it in these times except they must have a lot of cash! My limit is $5 on any one item and I rarely go that high. Of course, it's just costume jewelry.

a jewlery set in a box - a jewelry set in a box
I really dont spend any mney on it. I have alot that was given to me and I dont wear it very much. Its not something I feel is as important as other things. I do like rings and will wear them. I just dont have the money to spend alot on things that I really wont use!

no.. I could care less about jewellry. The most I spent was $90 on a really nice silver necklace when I was in mexico. My mom gave me the money for it. She said I should have some nice jewellry. I wouldn't have bought it if she didn't suggest it and give me the money. I used to buy jewellry for my body piercings. But I had to take all those out for work. Sometimes I buy some jewellry from avon.. but that is rare.. and its really cheap.

No, so far there is no budget for me to buy jewellery. I am not really keen of wearing them. The only time I bought jewellery is for my wedding purpose. But recently, I found out that earrings and rings with gems are very attractive. I think I might going to save up some money for those.

I haven't bought any new jewlery in a while. I used to wear it everyday when I was working. Now, I mainly only wear my earrings. I don't spend a lot on jewelry though. I usually just buy the cute stuff at Claire's or Walmart, and their stuff is low cost, so you can buy whatever you want without worrying about the price.
