someone else had started a thread here on mylot debating whether or not taking a zygote, before it develops, and determining it's gender is right or wrong. i saw some comments left on this thread that somewhat rubbed me the wrong way, considering that the point of the thread was somewhat obvious. there are many countries around this world which favor male babies over female babies. and, in many of these countries, the female babies are aborted or killed at birth simply due to their gender. this is called gender discrimination, even before birth. having the opportunity to look within an egg before it develops into a fetus to determine gender is only going to cause gender-based genocide. look at countries like china, right at this very moment, who are still murdering female babies in order to continue the family name and male-based procreation. thoughts?

This kind of thing is stimulated by human's endless desire... at first ,they want to see the little baby before it is born,so naturally they want to know the gender of their baby... Our society is fast developing, people's thoughts also change... seems everything is not impossible with development, but bad point is it brings lots of moral problems as well...

I don't know, that's more God's place to decide, don't you think?
