Do you rent movies online?

Do you use Netflix or Blockbuster online to rent movies? If it's available where you are, and you enjoy watching movies, you definitly should look into it! I had a Netflix account some time ago and only cancelled it because I got a job at a movie rental store and was offered free movie rentals. Then after I left that job I signed up with Blockbuster.com. I love it!! You go to the site and pick out movies you want to see. You can pick as many as you'd like and they will save them in your queue. They'll ship you the first movie, and when you return it, they'll ship the next one. With Blockbuster, you can even sign up to exchange the movies in the store if you don't want to wait for a new one to be shipped. But it only takes about 2 days. I put a movie in my mail box yesterday to be returned (free return shipping too!), and I just got the e-mail that they've shipped my next movie. I'll probably get it tomorrow even though they say it will take 2 days. I usually do get it the very next day. For my plan I pay around $20 a month... that is the cost of 4 movie rentals per month in a rental store. I get 2 movies at a time, as soon as I ship one back I get another one, plus I get 3 in store exchanges per month. It's great.. and we always have a movie waiting for us to watch it.

I have the NetFlix account established. I hated renting movies from the local store and paying late charges on them. So when Sendearnings.com offered me a deal to try NetFlix I signed up for them. I have the three movies at a time rental which is like $15 a month. I can rent 3 movies, it normally takes 2 days to get here and then only 1 day to get back to the nearest location. I can rent as many movies a month as I want but never have more than 3 at a time. Free shipping both ways. I can also watch certain movies online. I love it so far! I had a bad experience with Blockbuster once and have vowed not to rent from them again. Glad you like your plan with them though.

Yes we are awful with late fees. We got our Blockbuster membership through Treasure Trooper and actually made money for signing up for it. But we kept it due to the fact that we love movies and going to the video store is such a pain and is so much more expensive.

Yep, basically the same thing here. I am very happy with NetFlix so far and it is a real time and gas saver for us not to mention the $ saved on late fees!

I've had a Netflix account for about a year now, before that I had Blockbuster for awhile. I haven't actually been to a video store in a really long time, online renting is so much better.

I LOVE Netflix! I have used it for a couple years now and I am a movie buff! LOL Me and my honey watch movies all the time. It's so much more cost effective also. Our friend tried to get us to go Block buster but I never used Blockbuster because the closest one to us is probably a good 30 minutes away so all the extra perks don't really matter for us ya know? But I love that in just a days time I have a new movie! So awesome. Thanks for reminding me I have to go add movies to my list! :-D

I have had Blockbuster Total Access for over 4 years now and I love it. We are lucky we got Grandfathered in with our original plan. They don't offer it anymore so I'll probably never end my membership. We get 3 movies at a time with unlimited in store exchange. Plus we get 2 free movie coupons. We pay the same $20 you do. But even if we didn't have the original deal, I'd still sign up. The benefits you are getting with your plan are still great.

It's well worth the $20 a month. I don't need anymore than I have right now. We can only watch 1 movie a night, and we can't get to the store often, so this is just right for us.

I don't rent movie online, but an ex boyfriend of mine was subscribed to NetFlix and I agree that it is a great thing. No late fees and when you return one they send you the next one right away on your list which is nice. I like to have my movies and build up my dvd collection so I'd rather buy them from my dvd guy :)

I have had Netflix for years, and I love it. What I like best about it is the huge selection. If you can think of it, you probably can get it at Netflix. I never run out of ideas for movies and TV shows to add to my queue. We usually only watch one movie a week, but its great to have the DVDs delivered and not have to go out for them. I have done a few of the downloadable movies, but I don't really care for that part of the service.

I'm a big netflix fan. I've been using their service since 2004 and I have no complaints at all. For me, their service just gets better and better. They are the only company who when things get better actually lower the prices of their subscription rates. That has happened to me three times...you just have to love a company like that... Currently i'm on a 2 DVD plan with unlimited online viewing. I love it. I don't own a TV, and I very rarely go to the movies, so Netflix serves as my main source of movie and tv show viewing. Furthermore, hubby currently lives in another state, so he gets to used Instant viewing even we don't live under the same roof for now. I love being a Netflix member, and I'm sure you will, too.

we use Netflix and i LOVe it! the stupid video store itself is on the other side of town, so with gas and then $4 per movie, plus driving to return the movie, its just too expensive anymore! i probably have a movie queue of about 100 on netflix right now lol! i just switched my subscription plan to 4 out at a time (unlimited per month) for $23.99. so even if i get only 4 movies per week that works out to around $1.50 per movie..whereas 4 movies a week would have cost me about $64 from Hollywood video the old way!! Long Live Netflix!!

Our video store is only 5 mins away, but they run out of the movies very quickly. They never have any of the new releases when we want them.

hiya, I have an account with Lovefilm (in UK). Similar to blockbuster you can make a list and put them in priority. I get 2 a month for 5.99, which is ok but I never get round to watching them. I keep meaning to cancel my subscription, but never get around to doing it! Ah well....

I pay about $20 a month for my Netflix DVD plan, but it's 3 movies. We send the movies back every week, so we end up with 12 movies for $20 month. Most times, I don't watch the movies, but hubby does. I watch TV shows online.

Yeah I recently joined Netflix for 1 rental out at a time. The cool thing is they also got many movies you can watch directly from their web site.

I have Netflix. I love the fact that I can watch unlimited TV shows and movies online plus get 3 DVDs out at a time. I don't have a Blockbuster near by so Netflix is the choice for me. It is wonderful. My sister works at Movie Gallery so we get the joy of seeing new releases before they come out for the general public. So I guess I've got the best of both worlds. hehe
