Our pride will destroy us.....

The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. Proverbs 11:3
Today my Bible reading and meditation brought me to Esther 7 until 10. It was to be a chapter a day but I cant help but know the story of Esther and how pleased King Xerxes with her that he made her the new Queen to replace Vashti. But there was this man named Haman who was not pleased with the Jews and have decided to give plunder to those who will kill all the Jews and even had King Xerxes sign a decree to implement it. But Esther who is a Jew requested the King not to do it and have identified Haman as the author of such planned killings. Haman was hanged.
Its a lesson tha his plan to destroy others ended up as his own destruction. He was obseeses with the idea and even made sure to kill the Jews.
Lets open daily hearts and lives daily to God's examnination, and ask him to forgive us for the sin as He exposes.

I remember this story only I forgot some names
it's been a while since I read the bible
but I have seen it happened to me and to others how too much pride is not good
there is a saying "pride before you fall"
so having pride is ok as long as it's not too big that it would make us over confident

Yes, thats very true my friend, its dangerous to have over pride, othr people will never undertsand and will always have negative effects.

Our pride will get us into trouble, wether it is our nation, or us individualy. God says pride cometh before the fall....and it is so very true.We should be humble to his word and apply it in all our thoughts and actions.I love your posts about God.

Yes, its a realization that we should always coem to Him, all the time not just in times of trouble. The end of times are here and we should be ready, the world is getting darker each day.
