Anyone who is a member of this what is your star rating and how many songs did it take to get to this rating. It took my around 100 odd songs to get to the 2 star rating. I'm on 250 songs now but still not rising in the star ratings.

I am new to this site, I have a 1 Star Rating and have reviewed about 55 Songs in Slicethepie until now and will review more. Do you think that if I reach to 100 Songs then I can get a 2 Star Rating?

It depends on a couple of other factors also... Your accuracy needs to be high, for 2 stars it needs to be in the high 80's, maybe 87% and higher. You also need to be writing reviews of 3 - 4 lines long and they need to be well written. Do this and your stars will come along soon.

I have 3 stars on slicethepie, I think it took me between 500 and 1000 tracks to get there but including trading on the exchange I have made over £1000 ($2000) there. To work your way up through the star ratings you need to keep your accuracy up. The only way to see your accuracy is to install the slicethepie scouting application on your facebook profile. My advice is to write reviews about four or five lines long using as many musical terms as you can (ie melody, rhythm, tempo, hook, percussion, vocals, lyrics). Also try to make each review different. It can be difficult at times but try to use different descriptive words to explain the song. At the moment I have 3 stars and my accuracy is 88.33%. If I get it up to about 90% then I should hit 4 stars. The real way to build up your accuracy on slicethepie is to only give ratings of between 4 and 7 to most songs, 8 (and a tip) for the really good ones.

I'm also join this one. I've got my 2 stars in 55 tracks and 88 % accuracy. Yup, I'm agree with U, to build up high accuracy I also only rate between 4 and 8. But sometimes if I found splendid one I give it 9 and a tip. I'm working on my 3 stars now. It seems going to take a little while, cause I'm recently only at 155 tracks.

I do sometimes give out 9 and 10 scores and a tip, but only if the song really deserves it. Tipping the same artists that other people have tipped in the scout room also affects your accuracy.

I like this site but it's just so hard to increase your scout rating. I've reviewed so many songs already and as a matter of fact have been paid already but still my rating is still 1. But i still like them because it takes a short time to reach payout and they pay really fast. I just hope that they show the criteria for the scout rating so that members will have more initiative to write reviews.

I got up to 3 stars pretty quickly but I've been on 3 for about 8 months now. They have made it harder to increase your rating since then so that's probably why I'm finding it difficult to hit 4 stars. All I can say to anyone is keep going, you'll get there eventually no matter how long it takes. The more effort you put into your reviews and read the forums the better you will get at scouting. Trading on the exchange can be quite profitable too, but you have to do the research. I have won once on the virtual trading once aswell, I won £20 ($40).

Hi, I am a 4 star scout and if I remember that happened at 1500 tracks reviewed. I think I got 2 stars at 50 and 3 stars at 500. Your accuracy needs to be in the high 80's + for 2/3 stars and low 90's + for 4 stars, You need to be writing 3/4 lines of decent review. Of course these are only guides as STP does not divulge the exact star rating criteria. A long way to go for 5 stars for me, I have about 3000 reviews done now and need to get to around 10,000 for that 5 th star. Hope this helps you.

I don't know why but I have had some trouble with the site. I have not made any money and I have reviewed about 60 songs. All of the reviews I do go towards vouchers not money that I can keep. Do you know why this is?
