The Loss of a best friend.

Today I got the news that I lost my best friend of 19 years. She lost her battle to spinal cancer at the age of 37. I am devastated to say the least. Why does God take the good ones????? This is all I can say right now the pain is just to much.
Love the ones you have around you and be a true friend. Time is short.

As far as I know, and I've been studying God for many years, it wasn't God that took your friend away, it was the cancer. God had nothing to do with that dreaded disease.
He does promise:
Acts 24:15 (New International Version) "and I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked."
Isaiah 33:24 "No one living in Zion will say, "I am ill";
and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven."
One day things will be different!

1hopefulmom, I sure hope so. I was lucky to have such an amazing friend. Everyone should be so lucky. She was loved by everyone who she came into contact with. I am blessed to have known here and that in itself makes me smile.

i am sorry to hear that .
after all ,a true friend is necessary for everyone during our whole life ,when our good friend go to another world ,we still live in this world ,what should we do?i think just have a happy life well,it is the right thing what your friend hold the same viwe,is not it?

Thank you xzg555898. My best friend had the most positive attitude that I have ever seen. She was the perfect best friend. Always encouraging no matter how bad things were. She lit up a room when she entered it. She would tell me to stop being sad and be happy. That is the sort of person she was. She found the positive in everything. She is someone I always looked up to and I will continue to do so in the future.

god did not take your friend disease took your friend iam sorry for your lost but you will see her again think of this she is not suffering anymore.i can,t say i know how you feel but i can say i been where you are and in time it will get easyer.god loves you very much he don,t want any of us to suffer remember he give his only begotten son so we may live after adam and eve messed everything up. he wants us to have paradise.
