Sure, there are advantages and disadvantages over earning online or offline. Are you earning extra money both online and offline? How do you manage it? What do you like about earning online? Offline? Your thoughts?

since i stay at home, earning money online is easier for me, the problem is that its not instant and i'll have to wait a while. i normally start pushing my online earning when i really need it, like i have no money to spend so i need just a few dollars to make it to next payday.

That's great, at least you're earning. In myLot, how do you "push" your earnings?

Hi, i prefer earning money offline because many online programs are fake. Other advantage of offline earning is getting relaxation between your work . The best thing about offline job is you will surely get your payment.

I agree with you...only few online programs can be trusted and sometimes it even don't give you what they promised...it's all about the catch. You would really need a regular job or offline business. With online jobs, you'd earn but it will also take too much focus.

Well for the moment i prefer earning online although it's a slow process for me as i am not prepared to invest in this way. Once i finish college i will probably switch to offline earnings.

Wow you're very industrious huh, you're earning while studying. Yes, at least for now you have very slow but useful income, through myLot.

Hi there, I'm not working at all, because I'm not in my home country and I don't have a working visa here to be able to get a job! so for me to earn a little bit online helps a lot. Thanks!

Aside from my full-time job offline is where I earn the most of my money. The money I earn online is for the little extras, that everyone likes. For example I like: 1. to watch movies (10-20 or more a month) 2. to eat at different restaurants 3. meeting and making new friends My online income opportunities allow me to do all of those things without tapping into my full-time income which is used for bills, housing, family expenses, etc...

Same here, I use the money I earned online to splurge on extra food, movies, and gadgets. :)

I do both, but I like earning money offline as offline earning programs are very slow. You can't earn enough for your daily needs online. I am a web developer and I can make many times more making websites than they pay us online.

If I am making money offline then it means that I have *gasp* a job! Oh, horror! All kidding aside, my full-time job is what supports me, keeps a roof over my head and puts food on the table. So far I have not made enough money online to consider it anything more than pocket change. Of course, if I was able to make money entirely online (legitimately, of course) then I would give up the job in a heartbeat. That's what I do in my spare time anyway so making a full-time living would be a dream come true! However, it is hard enough to distinguish the legitimate sites from the scams on the net, let alone trying to earn enough to equal the pay of a full-time job. Right now I see my online pursuits as hobbies or ways to decompress and have a bit of fun after a long day at work. If it is not fun, I would not continue doing it, no matter how great the money may be. For me, any money I earn online is an added bonus.

Well I earn money from my FULL-TIME job- so that money is essential and welcome. but I like the fact that I can earn money online and I can do much of this WHILE I am at work at my full-time job -so I am earning more during the same hours. That is what I enjoy most- that I can accomplish more than one thing at the same time- I love to multi task. because there just aren't enough hours in the day. And my online earnings, I usually have fun earning anyway.

Same here! I usually go to MyLot whenever I get tired from my offline work. I get to de-stress, talk about my interests, and earn at the same time! Isn't it cool? Anyway, the sad thing is I'm earning really slowly in MyLot. They say I have to put 3-4 lines per reply, but sometimes I run out of words to tell. I just don't want to blab out of nothing just to do that 3-4 lines per reply. Boo.

I agree with you, of course, but I do like interacting more with people than with computers. I mean, I'm on the PC on most of my waking hours. What I like about going to the office is that I get to meet other people as well as doing what I love doing - developing computer programs. Anyway, at least I get to earn here on myLot talking about things that interest me, and at the same time, earning a little money to get by to little things.

I agree, earning online is really easy. The bad thing is that earning online quite takes some time. But $10 or $100 out of nowhere is better than not getting any money at all!

I prefer earning extra money offline. Because most online extra money making websites are fake, and it really takes a long time to earn the first buck. I do some translation and interpreting work for ppl or company offline. It's paid good. I am exploring more ways to translation work opportunity!

Yes doing translation pays good. I hope that I'll be able to do translation work again sometime soon. So what from language to what language do you translate?
