American Gangster vs Godfather III?

Which film did you like best?I finally got to see American Gangster the other night and I liked it but I loved Godfather 3. Call me old fashioned when it comes to gangster films but I like the Coppola-Puzo touches.Godfather 3 is more of a epic. what about you, which do you like best.

I think you're not old fashioned because The Godfather is definitely "gangster flick" of all time.
It's made stars out of its cast and director. And it became The icon of gangster movie.
After this film, everyone was doing "The Don" imitations.

1 and 2 were masterpieces but I like 3 more than American Gangster and I was surprised.
