Incompetent Cervix

I am 6 months pregnant and suffering with Incompetent cervix. This could have led to an abortion in the second trimester. but thanks to God and the doctor that it was treated in my 5 month only. The doctor has done a cerclage for this. Now I am under bed rest so that this does not result in a pre-mature baby. Does anyone has been in this situation before, and is it taking the bed rest during this period is required? As I am a working woman, it is creating an issue in taking leaves for 2 months from the office.

i have a problem like yours when i got pregnant in my second baby, i do have a regular check up but some of my doctor's advise was not on my mind to follow it. i lost my baby for he is not really ok in my womb at that time and til the present my husband and my MIL blamed me for the incedent. for you i wish you luck for your baby and especially you, just be patient for there are sacrifices that you have to overcome so that you and your baby will be totally fine. dont mind about the work in the office because it will not be good to think problems when you are in a hard situation. just be patient and you will see the result will give you luck. have a nice day.
