with my family they think that they have to always be into my relationships and tell me whats good for me and whats not, and the relationship that i am in now they tell me that i am too young to get serious about one girl, and im like i am the one that can decide that i think since i am twenty years old...and that just kind of irritates me when people think that they can run my relationships better than i can and tell me whats good for me and whats not...so has this ever happened to you? i would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to come by and read and review my discussion and hopefully answer, i hope that you all have had a great day so far and that you have a great and safe evening today, thanks again for taking the time to come by...

well 20 y/o is not too young or too old to be in a relationship. unless if you're talking about living together with your girlfriend. but being in a relationship where you go beyond plain friendship and not close to living together, i see no harm in that. talk to your family. if you're still studying tell them you will still treat your studies as your highest priority (or one of the highest) maybe they're being overprotective by telling you this and that. tell them you need your own experience but you will use theirs as guidance good luck

no problem. i know how it feels like having people running your life. it sucks. you have to follow everything you're told and when you do and it turned out wrong you're the one to suffer with it, not them. being protective is good, overprotective is bad. you're already leaving your teenage life. you need experience, good or bad to survive what's the world gonna give you cheers
