Will you eat the meal in the flight?

China

I myself would like to take the meal provided by the flight companies even there're some negative sayings about the them.I saw some articles which mentioned the food provided by air are all Junk food that high calorie, artifical add, something like that. Most of my flights are economic tickets and thus the food is some normal beef, fish along with fruits,I think it's not bad like they say. So,how about you mylotters? Will you have the meal in the air or you bring food yourself?lol`

Yes I doo eat the airplane food, but also before I fly I choose what i want to eat by going to the airline website and logging in using my frequent flyer number; there I can select what i want to eat as oppose to what the airline is serving the general passengers. Some airline do give passengers some meals that leaves a lot to be desired, and some does a great job with their meals, especially those flying in Europe

I consume everything that's offered on the principal that I've paid for it and although it does not amount to much by way of a meal, it's better than nothing at all and I do need to eat something on a long flight otherwise I'll get very cranky by the end of it.

Yes, actually I enjoy the meal in the flight because I found they are very delicious:) Besides, it won't have bones and I like it:) Besides the meal, they will also offer the snacks so that your ears won't feel uncomfortable since you are chewing. I love China

Most airlines require that you now purchase your inflight meal if they offer it. Some have taken to offering a snack box instead. The meals offered on United are generally some kind of weird trendy type of concoction. Last flight they offered a roastbeef and salami sandwich with some kind of pesto condiment. I chose the salad instead. When the flight is six hours long what choice do you have unless you want to cram snacks in your carry on or purse.

depend on the meal that is provided... most of the time i will... but if the meal is really bad, of course i won't eat it... but i never bring my own food to the plane... it is either i eat first before i board the plane in the airport or eat the meal that is provided on the plane... take care and have a nice day...

I have always been pleased with the meal served on the airline. They may lack in flavor but then it is prepared ahead of time and not seasoned to my taste. The last few flights I have taken some snack food on the plane because I am not certain of getting something to eat in the airport if I have a layover or on the plane.

On long flights I do eat the airplane food, as I need it and also for something to do. On short flights though, I rather not, as I can do without those chewy sandwiches they are giving out these days!

I have actually never eaten airplane food! I usually eat before I fly that way I'm more relaxed when I get on the plane. I take snacks like chips or candy. I wouldn't turn the food down if I were hungry but so far I've always eaten before a flight!

Well, I don't eat RIGHT before a flight. I tend to grab food on my way to the airport. Then by the time I get there and settled and all that my food has settled. I'm not hungry and therefore can relax.

Don't go by what you hear from other people, go by what you experience yourself. A lot of what you hear is rumours spread by people who do not know the facts themselves. Remember always that "Seeing is beliving."

I eat the food in the plane because not all airline food sucks. There are specific airlines hehe... I do not usually bring food unless it's a domestic flight, then I bring food because some airlines do not offer food anymore for short flights. I like the food of Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Northwest. I do not like the food of KLM most especially. :)

Sometimes, I do buy food and bring it with me or we eat our heavy meals before going to the airport. Most of the time, it's coffee we have in the airport. I still eat the meal on the plane. My reason, I paid for it, so why not? Some does not taste good. Others are fine. When i'm hungry, I'd go for it. LOL!

For ten years I had ear pain when flying on a plane. This terrible pain began when the plane started to descend ready to land. Then before I flew to Kenya a friend gave me a pair of ear planes to try. They are small plastic screw like things that I wear in my ears when I fly. This stops all pain but eating with them in is not comfortable. So I always have snacks in my hand luggage that I eat before I fly. I have them in my bag when I am on the plane just in case I get really hungry. Some budget airlines that fly from my home country sell food and drink on the plane and that can be pricey. A have flown with one charter airline to a couple of different long haul destinations and they weren't able to offer a vegan meal. They had vegetarian and meat eaters choices of meal I found. I am allergic to cow's milk and I have a vegan diet. I really love to travel and the plane ride part of it but I don't eat a meal provided by an airline.

Whenever they serve any meals on board my flights, I will always check it out. So far, the meals I took during flights are pretty good. Of course, they may not taste as good as gourmet dishes, but at least it will fill me up until my next meal. Even for short flights, they may serve a small snack which I'm quite grateful for. I eat them all up because I have paid for them anyway. I never bring my own food on board flights. I don't even know if they would still allow this with all the global security measures in place. I take flights normally when I go on a vacation, so I won't feel like preparing food prior to a flight. I have other things to think about. Plus I;m just not in the mood.

I don't like the food they provide; it's usually rather tasteless, and moreover if it's a short journey like 3-4 hours, I would rather wait until I reach my destination. However if I'm hungry, then I have no choice, but to eat a bit!

Yea,if for the short term flight, the air company always provides us some snack like candy something~~.

i like their meals and i will definitely eat it and i find them very good and i will never bother about bringing the meal from my house as it seems a bit too rude to the air company and if they don't provide any meal and i know it before i will take some snacks and biscuits and i can survive on them. nowadays many airliners don't provide meal in flight as it gets higher on their budget.
