I caught something last week staying outside for a barbecue so my sinuses began to go amok. I then lost my sense of smell and taste and when night comes around would get the chills. Luckily, I have MyLotters to comfort me with discussions because I wrapped myself around my blanket, turned on the heat, setting it to 70 and banged away on the keyboard. It rained last night as well so the sound of the heat and the rain provided some kind of comfort. I still have it on just to keep myself from sneezing up and down my home. Other than that, I don't know what to do besides steam up some water in a basin and throw a blanket over it to sauna.

I have not. I love the rooms to be cold so I can snuggle under blankets! Everybody else in the house is miserable, but I'm happy! lol but I know that heat is coming on soon. We live in the foothills of the Rockies and they are having winter storms up there!

I live in a very old, drafty house with little/no insulation so yes, my heat has actually kicked on for a short time here and there. I've been leaving the thermostat set at 65 during the day and 63 at night.
It's rainy today but no real cold, but I'm sure it will kick on again at some point. My landlord just put in a new heat pump but the pump isn't working so right now it's the bigger furnace that is coming on. That will result in a higher electric bill, so I hope the guy comes to fix it today like he said.
